Dikari Mari Ladakvayi - Manhar Udas


The king of Gujarati Ghazals Shri Manhar Udhas has come out with a new album, and the opening and happening song of the album is: 'Dikri Mari Ladakavayi', a song dedicated to girl child.

    પ્રશંસામાં નથી હોતી કે નિંદામાં નથી હોતી.
    મઝા જે હોય છે ચુપમાં, તે ચર્ચામાં નથી હોતી.
    ગુલાબી આંખની રંગીની શીશામાં નથી હોતી,
    નજરમાં હોય છે મસ્તી, જે મદીરામાં નથી હોતી.
    ગઝલ એવી પણ વાંચી છે, મેં દિલદા’ની આંખોમાં.
    અલૌકિક રંગમય, જે કોઇ ભાષામાં નથી હોતી.
    અનુભવ એ પણ ‘આસીમ’ મેં કરી જોયો છે જીવનમાં,
    જે ઊર્મિ હોય છે તાપીમાં, ગંગામાં નથી હોતી.
